Holiday Lights at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront – 11/20/15 – 01/02/16

Take a drive on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and experience the amazing display of holiday lights from the comfort of your car. Tune your car radio to the right frequency and you can listen to the festive music too! With numerous displays like the 12 days of Christmas, sea animals and nautical theme, Santa’s elves and Christmas trees, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Garden of Lights at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens – 11/26/15 – 12/31/15
5:30 PM- 10:00 PM
Head out with your family and friends to see the 19th annual light show at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. There will be traditional lighted displays throughout the garden, along with synchronized holiday music. Get there in time to see the famous Dancing Trees show!
Macarthur on Ice – Norfolk – 11/21/15 – 01/18/16
@ Corner of Monticello Avenue and Freemason Street (By Macarthur Center)
Lace up your skates and take a spin on the 200-square-foot outdoor ice rink! There will be public skating sessions, ice hockey clinics and figure skating shows! If you don’t know how to skate, don’t worry…you can take private lessons or get help from the on-site skating guards.
Old Towne Holiday Music Festival in Portsmouth – 12/12/15
12:00-6:00PM @ High Street in Portsmouth
This festival is one of Portsmouth’s most special holiday events! Enjoy the sounds of the season, with numerous live performances, children’s activities, and period actors who will be strolling around High Street.
Suffolk Holiday Parade: Storybook Holiday
7:00PM @ Downtown Suffolk
Get there early to find the best spot to watch the floats, marching bands, dancers, equestrian units and holiday decorated cars stroll down West Washington Street and take a turn up North Main Street, with the parade route ending on Finney Avenue. This year’s grandstand will be in front of the Suntrust building on Main Street.
